CLIENT INSTRUCTION – SITE VISIT – SURVEY
We were asked to look at the gutters on a village hall in North Norfolk. The client reported that the gutters were blocked and leaking. Our site visit and survey found extensive plant growth in the gulleys and corrosion to the metal gutters along the sides of the hall.
PROPOSAL AND QUOTATION
Replacing the gutters would be a very expensive solution so we proposed relining the gutters with a liquid waterproofing solution.
CLEANING – REPAIRS – MAINTENANCE
We removed all of the plant growth and debris from the gutters and applied the rubberising solution to the affected areas. The solution is water repellent on application, strongly adhesive and reinforced with polyester fabric. This provided an instant and durable fix, which extended the life of the gutters considerably.
CLIENT REPORT AND INSPECTION
We returned to the site a week later to inspect the repairs and then again when there had been significant rain fall. The gutters were no longer leaking.
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME
We conduct an annual vacuum clean of the gutters at this site. Further repairs to the treated gutters have not been required.
