CLIENT INSTRUCTION – SITE VISIT – SURVEY
We were asked to visit a traditional water mill that has been converted for use as a restaurant. The building is wood clad and surrounded by trees so the wood had become covered with green algae. Unsure whether to repaint the woodwork or clean it the client asked us to undertake a survey and provide recommendations.
PROPOSAL AND QUOTATION
We were confident that cleaning would remove the green algae and other dirt and leave the building looking as if it had been decorated. Cleaning was a much more cost effective solution as it could be undertaken from the ground, without the need for scaffolding and in a fraction of the time.
CLEANING
The work was undertaken using high reach water fed poles and a brush system.
CLIENT REPORT AND INSPECTION
This was a very effective job and although we were able to supply before and after images of the work it was very obvious that the cleaning was successful and had been done thoroughly and to a very high standard.
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME
There is no need for annual cleaning at this site and the client will contact us for spot cleaning as required.
